To provide holistic care to empower women and families
who are experiencing abuse to live safe, independent, and healthy lives.
As a division of Community Advocates, the Milwaukee Women’s Center provides: emergency shelter for battered women and children; 24-hour crisis line; specialized services for older abused women; batterers treatment; and case management and counseling services to address domestic violence, substance abuse and mental health issues.
Each year, more than 1,000 women, men, and children receive intervention, prevention and treatment services and 12,000 individuals receive assistance through the 24-hour crisis line and community education program.
